About Us

Who Are We?

Tunbridge Wells CAN is a non-profit Community Interest Company run by volunteers from Tunbridge Wells and surrounding areas and set up to create an annual Climate and Nature Fair. The inaugural Fair will be held in Calverley Park Grounds (photo) in September 2025.

If you want to help us organise the Fair, please use the Contact Us form. If you would like to apply to have a stall, please see the Stallholders page. We are also seeking Sponsors to help make the Fair happen.

If you'd like to support us and help make Tunbridge Wells the 'green capital' of the South East, you can donate here.

Why a Climate and Nature Fair?

The purpose of the Fair is to:

  • raise awareness of the climate and nature emergency
  • be a community-focused event that encourages local organisations and people of all ages and backgrounds to come together with a common purpose
  • inspire and inform individual and collective action to reduce carbon footprints, improve local natural environments and to lobby political representatives and businesses to implement meaningful action
  • celebrate those who have made a positive environmental impact
  • support and embolden TWBC’s Strategic Plan for Net Zero
  • give local and national businesses an opportunity to present their environmental credentials (without accepting ‘Greenwashing’)
  • have fun and provide emotional support to concerned individuals by showing that they are not alone in their concerns.
